Details: Walkers Midshire Foods, part of the Samworth Brothers Group, is based in Leicester and produces premium sausages and other seasonal products. In the knowledge that Walkers Midshire had tried to challenge Severn Trent’s charges before, RM Water Services took a complete appraisal of their charges to assess the basis for Severn Trent’s charges. In this involved conducting a full “Bill Analysis” of both the current and historic charges at the site followed by a “Water Audit” of the sites. Having established that there was a challengeable case, RM Water Services negotiated with Severn Trent on the application of their charging scheme. After lengthy and technical negotiations RM Water Services achieved a backdated refund of over £5,000 and annual savings of over £7,000.
